The Al-Najd Development Forum, in partnership with the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), implemented a campaign to distribute clothing to displaced children in shelters across the Gaza Strip, specifically in the northern and southern governorates. This initiative is part of the Forum's ongoing efforts to respond to the growing humanitarian needs amidst the dire conditions prevailing in the Gaza Strip. The humanitarian intervention aimed to provide 1,500 sets of clothing to children facing harsh living conditions after being displaced and losing their homes and belongings, in an effort to alleviate the burdens borne by the most vulnerable families. In this context, Rafqa Hamlawi, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Al-Najd Development Forum, affirmed that the distribution of clothing reflects the Forum's commitment to its national and humanitarian responsibility towards the Palestinian people. She explained that the selection process was based on a field study conducted by the Forum's social research team to ensure that aid reached those who needed it most. She added that this step is part of a series of relief activities and projects implemented by the Forum to alleviate the suffering of displaced persons and contribute to providing basic necessities for affected children and families.
