Al-Najd Development Forum conducts an awareness workshop for women working at Al-Sahaba Medical Hospital.

The Al-Najd Development Forum, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), conducted an awareness workshop targeting a group of women working at Al-Sahaba Medical Hospital in Gaza City. This workshop was part of the Forum's ongoing efforts to reduce gender-based violence and enhance the protection of women amidst the difficult humanitarian situation. The workshop covered a comprehensive range of awareness topics, focusing on raising awareness of women's rights, methods of prevention and protection from various forms of violence, the dangers of online extortion and how to prevent it, and how to navigate the digital space safely. The workshop also addressed economic violence as a consequence of the ongoing war on the Gaza Strip and its direct impact on women and families. At the conclusion of the workshop, the Al-Najd Development Forum distributed health kits to the participants, in a step aimed at supporting them health-wise and psychologically, and enhancing their resilience in the face of current challenges.
