Al-Najd Development Forum Conducts a Series of Awareness Sessions for Female High School Students in Deir Al-Balah Al-Najd Development Forum, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), implemented a series of awareness sessions for female high school students in the city of Deir Al-Balah, as part of its ongoing efforts to reduce gender-based violence. The sessions targeted students from Al-Nakheel Secondary School for Girls and Al-Salam Secondary School for Girls, and addressed a range of awareness-raising topics focused on strengthening girls’ awareness of their rights, methods of protection from various forms of violence, as well as raising awareness about the risks of electronic blackmail, ways to prevent it, and safe practices in the digital space. At the conclusion of the sessions, hygiene kits were distributed to the participating students, as a step aimed at supporting them and enhancing their health and psychological well-being, in line with the program’s objectives of providing a supportive and safe environment for girls. These sessions come within the framework of the Forum’s awareness programs, reaffirming the importance of girls’ knowledge-based empowerment and its role in preventing violence and strengthening their role in society.
