The visit included a field tour to the Women’s Employment Unit, operating under the “Cash for Work” program, where the number of beneficiaries has been increased. During the visit, the delegation reviewed the services provided within the safe space by meeting with several women beneficiaries of psychosocial support services, listening to their experiences and the impact of these services on improving their psychological and social well-being. The delegation also discussed with the forum’s team the key needs of women in the upcoming phase, in light of the current humanitarian challenges, stressing the importance of continuing and further developing these interventions to better respond to the realities faced by women in displacement settings. In addition, both sides explored ways to strengthen joint cooperation in the coming period, contributing to expanding service delivery and improving responses to the growing needs of women and girls. This visit comes within the framework of supporting ongoing efforts to enhance protection and respond to the needs of women and girls, as well as strengthening partnerships to ensure a more comprehensive and sustainable response.
