The Najd Development Forum conducted awareness-raising workshops at its safe space in northern Gaza, targeting 50 women as part of its protection and psychosocial support activities.

The workshops addressed two key topics: domestic violence amidst economic pressures and displacement—including how to manage it—and the protection of women and girls during displacement and within shelters. The sessions aimed to raise participants' awareness regarding the risks of gender-based violence, strengthen their capacity to protect themselves and their families, and familiarize them with mechanisms for seeking assistance and safe referral when needed. The workshops saw positive engagement from the participating women through open discussions and the sharing of experiences. This interaction contributes to fostering community awareness and building a safer, more supportive environment for women and girls amidst the difficult humanitarian conditions currently facing the Gaza Strip.
