Activity Report – March 2026 Al-Najd Development Forum Conclusion of a specialized training course on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) – titled “Protection and Prevention of Gender-Based Violence”. The course targeted 16 women and included 15 training hours. It covered concepts of GBV, its forms, causes, and effects, in addition to introducing protection mechanisms and how to access relevant services. Topics also included cyberbullying and protection against it. At the end of the course, participants received certificates and gifts. Organizing a recognition ceremony for female staff, volunteers, and local committees who worked throughout the war to serve women, with gifts distributed in celebration of International Women’s Day – March 8. (Number skipped in original) Conducting group sessions for women in displacement camps – several awareness sessions were held, focusing on raising knowledge about gender-based violence, women’s rights, and protection mechanisms. 550 women benefited from the awareness and education program. Individual assessments were conducted for 61 cases. 70 cases were referred to the Economic Empowerment Program. 45 cases were referred for health assistance programs. 5 cases were referred to legal clinics. 7 cases were referred for medical care. (Number skipped in original) Organizing a recreational day for 65 women, with gifts distributed at the forum’s headquarters in Gaza City. Employment of 120 women for three months under the “Work for Money” project, recycling flour bags to produce mats and bags. Employment of 12 young women under the “Work for Money” project to create bank wallets inside the camps.
